2007:
  • Played in all 16 games with eight starts and recorded a career-high five interceptions, returning an NFL-high three for touchdowns including two in one game; his three INT returns for TDs tied the franchise record (Robert Massey, 1992) and tied for the second most in a season in NFL history, becoming the 22nd player to do so
  • Led all Cardinal defensive backs with 10 tackles and one special teams tackle @ TB (11/4)
  • Registered a record setting day with three interceptions for the first multi-interception game of his career while returning two for touchdowns (55, 54 yds.) while a third TD was called back on a penalty; also registered six tackles @ Cin (11/18); ended Bengals last hope with an interception near midfield with under a minute to play and was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week; became just the fifth player in NFL history with two INT touchdowns of 50+ yards in the same game; three interceptions is tied for the highest single-game total in the NFL in 2007
  • Led team and tied his career-high with 11 tackles and one pass defensed vs. Cle (12/2); joined Roderick Hood as first Cardinal teammates to each collect two INT returns for TDs in the same season since Jerry Norton and Billy Stacy (1961)
  • Started fourth straight game for Eric Green (IR-groin) and tied for second on team with seven tackles and one tackle for loss vs. Atl (12/23)
  • Recorded one quarterback hit, two interceptions and returned one 47 yards for a touchdown and the other for a career-best 57 yards vs. StL (12/30); performance earned him NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in 2007.  
 
2006:
  • Started all 16 games in his second season, finishing fourth on the team with 87 tackles
  • Led the team with eight total tackles and two passes defensed in the season opener vs. SF (9/10)
  • Had eight solo tackles and one pass defensed vs. KC (10/8)
  • Played a solid game on Monday Night vs. Chi (10/16) logging two passes defensed and three tackles
  • Led all defensive backs with seven total tackles @ Oak (10/22)
  • Recorded five tackles and one pass defensed vs. Dal (11/12)
  • Tied for team lead among defensive backs with six tackles vs. Det (11/19)
  • Tied for second on the team with nine tackles, also adding one pass defensed @ Min (11/26)
  • Tallied five tackles and his first career forced fumble vs. Sea (12/10)
  • Tied his career high with 11 tackles with one pass defensed vs. Den (12/17)

2005:
  • The second cornerback taken in the 2005 Draft behind West Virginia’s Adam “Pacman” Jones (6th overall, Tennessee) and the first CB taken by the Cardinals in the first-round since Tom Knight in 1997
  • Made his NFL debut @ NYG (9/11) and recorded one tackle
  • Notched six solo tackles in the home opener vs. St. Louis (9/18)
  • Recorded 11 tackles @ Sea (9/25), the second most on the team
  • Missed the game vs. SF (10/2) due to a left knee injury
  • Underwent surgery to repair damage in the knee on 10/3/05
  • Returned from his knee injury vs. Was (12/11) and recorded his first career interception and also broke up a pass
  • Made his first start since week three of the season and recorded nine solo tackles @ Hou (12/18)

  • Was an All-American choice in 2004 as a senior by The NFL Draft Report, Associated Press, Walter Camp, American Football Coaches Association, Football Writers Association, Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News
  • First-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection and was third in voting for the ACC Defensive Player of the Year Award
  • Selected to the All-ACC Academic team and was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award (best defensive back) and a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award (best defensive player)
  • Started eleven games at right cornerback, recording 58 tackles (37 solos) with 1.5 sacks for minus 13 yards, 6.5 stops for losses of 61 yards and a fumble recovery
  • Deflected six passes and intercepted another
  • Opened the season with 10 tackles (5 solos), three stops for losses of 31 yards and an 11-yard sack vs. Florida State
  • All-American third-team and All-Big East Conference first-team selection in 2003 as a junior by The NFL Draft Report
